Ketchikan City Highlights - The Totem Bight Tour begins at the cruise ship dock. On our way to Totem Bight, your guide will point out various places of interest in Ketchikan. We will see the canneries, the pulp mill and the ladder salmon use to swim up Ketchikan Creek to spawn. At the ladder we will stop to take pictures. From here, we will travel through the miles of breathtaking scenery on our way to the Park. Questions are always welcome!

Totem Bight State Park - This seaside park of totem poles holds a special charm. As a Sourdough tour guide narrates the legends of the Tlingit and Haida totem poles, you'll walk along a path in a lush rain forest to the beach. The many totem poles dot your paths as you enjoy the quiet serenity of the park. Here we will take you inside a replica of a Native clan house where we will tell you how the natives lived years ago.

Russian Museum - Next to Totem Bight Park is the Russian Museum which houses an excellent collection of guns dating from 1535-1868, mounted animals, and other Russian artifacts from Alaska's early days. Included in the collection is the third-made Gatling gun made by Mr. Richard J. Gatling himself. The Russian museum also has displays of mammoth tusks, furs and ivory. There is a delightful curio shop adjacent to the museum. We'll pass out smoked salmon for you to try.

Dolly's House/Creek Street - When we return to Ketchikan we will stop by the historic Red Light District on Creek Street. We will see Dolly's House which was a famous brothel operating until the middle of the 20th century. Your tour includes free tickets to Dolly's house. You can end your tour at this point or continue with us to the dock which is just two blocks away.
